Biography
Born in 1986 from the North East of England I came into the world like a great deal of people not knowing what lies ahead. Although originally (and still) a cycling fanatic my creative side of things sharp took over. This side of me lead to the music scene both djing and audio production in the electronic dance music genre.
Things started from a young age (around 12 years old) and I was mainly influenced by the late 80's rave scene and some rock genre. My first productions were made through midi files using Cakewalk and experimentation with Dance Ejay. Around 2001-2002 when leaving school especially I was sequencing and making basic music in early versions of FruityLoops (version 2 to be more precise) and decided to take things further by studying music technology at A-Level after that.
I started Djing around 2004 and production was at a respectable level by then and I started to get a bit recognised when going solo but to me production was all I wanted to do. Technology advanced, the world of software production studios got better and things started to sound more professional.
In 2006 my productions under my old and original name alias "Terry Barker" started to appear in mix sets like TrancEaddict's "VGM Remix Competition", "Unite Part 4" and Dj Usher Worm's "Love is Lost to be Found". In 2007 my first release under Infinity Loop Recordings Night Ray "Find the Trail" was a big personal achievement and started to get me recognised further abroad with older un-released remixes appearing on YouTube and Wes & Johnston playing an old favorite "Destruction" in a Tiesto warm-up set.
In 2009, the biggest and busiest year for me launching my new alias Azure Desolate and also the birth of baby Hannah (keeping me busy!). My new name was recognized quite quickly gaining almost instant support from Airbase and M.I.K.E releasing my remix of Evgeny Shagalov's "Touching Time" and Spark 7's "Space Journey", both well received by the EDM community.
Music to me is not about making the money its just raw talent and about keeping the scene going and bringing new changes to EDM. I'm currently working on a solo album of my favorites from across the years then to start a new phase of techy music after that as well as the usual trance.
So for now thanks for reading and supporting my music, check out the site for more upcoming events in the near future.
